Assistant Project Coordinator

Watchdog Management is a Vancouver-based, world-class artist management firm. The company represents high-caliber, internationally acclaimed touring and recording artists, as well as platinum-selling producers and songwriters.



The successful candidate will serve as an Assistant Project Coordinator, supporting Watchdog Management’s General Manager, and working closely with the Project Coordinator. The candidate will report to the GM and to the President. This is an in-office position. The candidate must be based in, or willing to commute to Vancouver.

Salary to commensurate with experience, between $45,000-$47,500 annually.

  • Interest in music industry and artist management 

  • Experience in music industry, even if limited, is a bonus but not required 

  • Ability to handle challenging situations, be proactive, trouble shoot and problem-solve

  • Exceptionally organized and able to multi-task and manage time effectively

  • Ability to manage a large volume of tasks

  • Knowledge of MS Office and Mac computers is essential 

  • Ability to work as part of a close-knit team 

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Availability outside of regular office hours. If you’re looking for a 9-5 job, this may not be for you



The Assistant Project Coordinator will work closely supporting the company GM as well as work closely along-side an experienced Project Coordinator, performing admin tasks including but not limited to: 

  • Artist calendar upkeep (internal + external)

  • Contesting/ prizing / fundraiser coordination 

  • Artist signing coordination

  • Contract management, signing, filing 

  • Deal memo/offer filing and distribution

  • Work visas 

  • Shipping + mail 

  • VIP product sourcing and coordination 

  • Vinyl and CD orders/coordination 

  • Graphic artist research 

  • Creative database upkeep (photographers, designers, stylists etc) 

  • Marketing letter coordination 

  • General artist file upkeep 

  • FACTOR, Music BC, Starmaker and Creative BC funding applications and wrap reports (for artists)

  • Merch logistics as needed 

  • Master Tour data entry 

  • Income tracking data entry 

  • Various admin coordination
